There are usually physical space barriers and psychological prejudice between colleges and villages. These lead to the lack of communication between universities and the villages around them. It is difficult to use resources with each other. The status of the relationship betweeb Jinan University and its surrounding, Shipai Village, is such a case. The villages in the city are rich in freedom. They develop a well-organized ecosystem on a limited plot, and ease the city's problems like residence, consumption and employment with an open attitude. The physical space has promoted the exchanges between people. Such a high density urban ecosystem also has many problems like poor sanitation and lack of public space. On the other hand, the campus is solemn and disciplined. As an important infrastructure of the city, it can be allocated to better urban space resources. Based on the purpose of education, it gathers cultural resources and human resources in various fields. The lack of openness in the physical space makes the relationship between the campus and the surrounding urban communities alienated. For the community, for the city, for the school, to create a popular open campus environment is worth trying.

Generation Strategy
Faced with such challenges, through research and analysis, we chose the Constant's theoretical system as the motif of spatial development and modularization, and used the simple and feasible spatial grid as the basis of modularization to spread to the villages and campuses in the city. From the perspective of typology, the rich and distinctive architectural types of Urban Village and the Campus of Jinan University were extracted, and they were deconstructed and reorganized at the junction of Urban Village and the Campus of Jinan University , which eliminated the architectural texture of both sides and became a fusion of Urban Village. The characteristic communication space with different spatial types and functions of the campus, the building as the form of “event generator”, spreads between the two sets of contradictory architectural textures between digestion and fusion, and extends continuously on the plane to create more interactional space form.
